personal statement
My name is IFRAH
TOFIK , I am qualified by Msc program on AICM department. If I say some words about my background ,I was born in Jigjiga in
1992 EC and currently live with my family in jigjiga town, capital of Somali
regional state of Ethiopia ,I learned my
education 1-12class in Jigjiga, then
joined to jimma university in Oromo
region in 2009 where I have graduated on
Business Administration and Information System Department ,and then last year I
joined Haramaya University to am proceed
my education and attended MSC programme on AICM
where I have found very interesting and profitable and how to apply
Information communication technology (ICT)for enhancing in Agricultural
development , I have selected this department since I believe that ICT is very
vital for the country economy development.
My
research title is related to the role of ICT in education. Actually
I am so interested in my research title as it depends on the facilitation of
information technology for students. I am very pleased to know how to use ICT
to support education reform and social development in my country. Therefore, I
am thoroughly looking forward to pursuing my interests both academically and
socially and I dedicated to get experience on the challenge that I faced in the
university . I believe I have the necessary enthusiasm and skill to be a
successful and effective student at the end.
In
the past five days I have been attending the useful training on the web2.which
was very interesting session. I have gained enough knowledge about how to apply
tools of web 2.0 which I felt very important and useful for my career.
I
would like to declare my heartfelt thanks for our trainers who have facilitated
the training in participatory approach and treated us in good manner. Actually
web applications are the best tools techniques that I found very helpful to my
research, I am so grateful for the academy that gave me this opportunity and I
hope to show changes and contribute to the growth of my country economy
development in the near future.
